Duragard® Premium SAE 85W-140 Gear Lubricant is specially formulated with only the finest quality, hydrotreated, High Viscosity Index (HVI), paraffinic base oils and the most advanced and rigorously-tested additive system to deliver unsurpassed protection and performance for equipment and automotive applications. This robust formulation meets or exceeds the recommendation for use in heavy duty manual transmissions, drive axles and final drives requiring API GL-5 & MT-1 performance.
Duragard® Premium SAE 85W-140 Gear Lubricant is recommended for use in light- and heavy-duty, automotive, commercial or industrial applications. It is applicable for multi-purpose, extreme pressure applications, including conventional differentials, gear boxes, limited slip rear axles, manual transmissions and hypoid gears and in axles where an API GL-5 & MT-1 lubricant is recommended. It is not intended for transmissions for which engine oil or automatic fluids are required.

Duragard® Premium SAE 85W-140 Gear Lubricant are recommended for passenger car, bus, farm equipment, off-road construction equipment, and on highway truck hypoid, spiral bevel, and worm gear axles, but can also be used in manual trans-missions or the differential (hypoid) gear oil specifications from all domestic and foreign manufacturers such as GM, Ford and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, LLC (FCA US, LLC). Can also be used in axles where an API GL-5 or GL-4 lubricant is recommended.
